Flex Edge Finder with disk attachment useful for edge finding parts, castings, fixtures, weldments. Ability to get spots other edge finding tools don't.

Flex Edge Finder is sold with Inch .250 flex shaft or Metric 6mm flex shaft. Remember to select the appropriate size the Disc attachment available in bore sizes Inch .250 and metric 6mm

Reach under protruding material to touch off part with the Flex Edge Finder Disk Attachment. Save time not doing extra touch off after top material is removed. Blend surfaces by precision edge finding. Touch off each side of part and divide by 2. You may spin indicator 180 degree to cancel run out. Refer to Inatool Flex Edge Finder Disk Attachment video

When blending surfaces edge finding is very important. The Flex Edge Finder Disk attachment makes setup easy. Remember your machine vise will deflect when tightened. The use of a torque wrench may bring best blend results on multiple part runs. Remember to edge find your part after the part is tightened in the vise. If you need to edge find the back jaw and the part does not allow, clamp on a metal spacer. Next tighten your vise with torque wrench and edge find back jaw. With your work zero established on back jaw insert your part and edge find remaining side or sides.

Work offsets placed in the center of parts and edge finding the x middle and y middle of part usually bring best results. Touch off each side of part and divide by 2. This accounts for any part size discrepancy.

Notice: Use safety glasses if user error occurs the flex shaft may snap. Do not turn on machine spindle with Flex Edge Finder mounted, put machine in neutral.
