Flex Edge Finder

Flex Edge Finder

The uncertainty of edge finding. Close is Close, but Closest is what the Flex Edge Finder will do for you.

The Flex Edge Finder uses a direct reading from an indicator, which means no over shooting the workpiece edge or being uncertain of workpiece location.

When using the Flex Edge Finder, it is unnecessary to rely on feel or muscle memory to prevent over shooting the edge of a workpiece because the Flex Edge Finder uses an indicator showing exactly where it is in relation to workpiece edge.

Other types of edge finders with no direct reading can easily over shoot the workpiece edge because they don’t have a direct reading from an indicator.

Be certain, never be wounding if it is really the edge. Edge finders not using a direct reading with a measurement device such as an indicator will have uncertainty of actual workpiece location.

Do Edge finding devices without a direct reading achieve the same results over time? If using an older machine with wear there might be stick slip and tight spots on the gibs resulting in a lack of fine control. This may result in unknowingly overshooting the workpiece edge.

The Flex Edge Finder is more than just an edge finder. It can use attachments and flex shaft forms to allow more functions. The Flex Edge finder can find the center of round parts with the Centering Vee Attachment. The Flex Edge Finder may use the Directly on Edge flex shaft, which means no math involved or extra offsetting the milling machine table. The Flex Edge Finder can cancel run out with a simple 180-degree rotation and splitting the difference on the indicator.

The Flex Edge Finder may be used as an indicator holder to sweep in holes, vices, parts, etc...
