Inch .250 Directly on Edge Flex Shaft

The Directly on Edge flex shaft requires no math or extra offsetting of the machine axis to account for the diameter of edge finder tip.

Make sure to clock indicator tip in relation to Directly on Edge flex shaft tip shape.

To use the Directly on Edge flex shaft, move the Flex Edge Finder into the workpiece until about .003 inch past zero on indicator. Next sweep the workpiece surface finding the low measurement. The low measurement being closest to zero on indicator. Leave the Flex Edge Finder on the low measurement and use as normal.

Notice: Use safety glasses if user error occurs the flex shaft may snap. Do not turn on machine spindle with Flex Edge Finder mounted, put machine in neutral.
